A Little About Your Piece…

All SewZowie pieces are thoughtfully handcrafted from secondhand and reclaimed textiles/materials. Since each item begins with pre-loved materials, no two pieces are exactly alike. Variations in color, texture, and minor signs of previous use are part of what make each creation unique.

All textiles are thoroughly cleaned before being transformed into something new. Items are washed 1–2 times using a non-toxic laundry detergent to ensure they are fresh and ready for their next life.

Care Instructions

To help your handmade item last as long as possible:

• Spot clean when possible.

• Hand wash in cold water for best results.

• If machine washing is necessary, use a cold, gentle, or hand-wash cycle.

• For upcycled applique garments and accessories, turn the item inside out before washing to help protect the patchwork.

• Air drying is recommended whenever possible.

SewZowie believes in keeping textiles in use for as long as possible. That's why I offer free mending on any SewZowie item within one year of purchase.
